The standard memory configuration is perfect for day-to-day tasks such as email, word processing and light web surfing. If you are using a professional app, do lots of mulitasking or multiparticipant video calls you would benefit form increased memory.
The more advanced your graphics processor, the smoother, crisper and more detailed your animations, films. designs and games will look. If you are working with graphics, video, CAD, gaming, or heavier music production, you'd benefit from improved graphics.

Apple now offers two glass finishes.
Standard glass - The normal glass finish you would expect, this has an anti-reflective coating for industry leading viewing comfort and readability.
Nano-texture glass - Further reduces glare for use in the most demanding ambient lighting environments.
