1 Year Warranty

Every refurbished device you buy from Hoxton Macs is covered by our 1 year Return to Base Hardware Warranty where faulty goods will be repaired or replaced with goods equal or greater in specification.


What we cover

  • Any hardware issues with the device and its accessories.
  • If the battery displays any Service or Replace warnings during the 1 year warranty period it will be replaced free of charge.


What we do not cover

We don’t cover faults to your Mac caused by accident, neglect, misuse, normal wear and tear, or any alteration or repair carried out without our prior approval, each of which would invalidate the warranty.

Trust is at the heart of our work. We have a comprehensive refurbishment process to ensure are devices are carefully tested and thoroughly checked to be fully functional. That’s why our returns rate is less than 1%.


What is the process if I have an issue?

If you experience an issue then let us know and one of our technicians will first troubleshoot with you, to check whether the issue is software or hardware related and to see if we can solve it remotely. If the device has a hardware issue that we can't resolve remotely we will coordinate return of the device for warranty repair or replacement.

How long is your warranty?

We provide a 1 year Return to Base Hardware Warranty.

Can I extend my warranty?

No, we do not offer warranty extensions.

Does the warranty cover the battery?

Yes. If you’re unhappy with the battery life of your device, we can run a remote test to check the health of the battery. If the battery displays any Service or Replace warnings during the 1 year warranty period it will be replaced free of charge.

Do you have a shop where I can bring the Mac?

No, we are an online business so we do not have a shop or store that customers can visit. If we are unable to solve an issue remotely we will coordinate return of the device using DPD, the cost of which we cover.

Do you cover broken screens?

No, this would be categorised as accidental damage so would not be covered by our harware warranty.

Will it be covered by Apple?

The 1 year warranty we provide is with ourselves, Hoxton Macs.
