The 14-inch M5 MacBook Pro was released in October 2025. This was the first MacBook Pro of the M5 generation.
The M5 MacBook Pro is a refinement of the M4 rather than a full redesign. Both models feature 16GB of unified memory as standard and a similar design and port selection. The main difference is the Apple M5 chip, which delivers improved performance and efficiency over the M4. The MacBook Pro M5 10-core is also configurable with 4TB SSD option.
It will depend on how you plan to use the MacBook Pro.
