MacOS Tahoe is the latest version of Apple's operating system, announced at the Worldwide Developers Conference on June 9, 2025, and scheduled for release in September 2025. The update introduces stylistic changes, including new Liquid Glass and colour-tinted app icons, refreshed light and dark appearances, and enhanced Apple Intelligence features with deeper iPhone integration.

can’t update to macOS Tahoe 26?
If your device no longer supports the latest version of macOS, you will continue to receive support through macOS Sonoma and macOS Sequoia. However, earlier versions of macOS will no longer receive security updates.
