Apple announced the 24-inch iMac in May 2021 as the first iMac to feature the new Apple M1 chip. The iMac features the first major redesign of the iMac since 2012 with a slimmer bezel, flat back, and all new colour options. This model was available as a entry-level two-port model with a 7-Core GPU, or a four-port model with an 8-Core GPU.
