Grading

Product Conditions

All of our devices are fully functional and are supplied with a one-year return-to-base warranty. Our grading relates to the physical condition of our devices, which fall within three categories; Fair, Good and Excellent.

Fair
These devices will show signs of use, for example, scratches, scuffs, or dents, none of which will impede function. The screen will show signs of wear, for example, scratches, surface wear, or a visual blemish.

Good
These devices will have minor cosmetic imperfections. This means that the chassis might have a scratch, scuff and or small dent. Screen might have a hairline scratch or light surface wear.

Excellent
Very good condition showing only light signs of use, such as light surface wear on the bottom edges of the device. Screen condition will be very good.

Batteries

All items containing batteries are checked to have a minimum of 80% charge capacity and under 500 cycles. If the battery displays any Service or Replace warnings during the 1 year warranty period, it will be replaced free of charge.

Warranty

1-Year Warranty

We provide a 1 year return-to-base hardware warranty with all of our items. In the unlikely event that your item suffers from an issue we will first try to troubleshoot remotely, if we are unable to fix the we will coordinate return and repair or replacement of the device.

What we cover

  • Any hardware issues with the device and its accessories.
  • If the battery displays any Service or Replace warnings during the 1 year warranty period it will be replaced free of charge.

What we do not cover

We don’t cover faults to your Mac caused by accident, neglect, misuse, normal wear and tear, or any alteration or repair carried out without our prior approval, each of which would invalidate the warranty.

Reporting an Issue

Should you have an issue you can contact a member of our team by emailing info@hoxtonmacs.co.uk, or give us a call on +44 (0) 208 819 3244. Please have your invoice or order number ready so that we can lookup your sales record.

Returns

You are welcome to return any purchase, just email us at info@hoxtonmacs.co.uk within 14 days of delivery and we will provide you with return details. You then have a further 14 days to return the item to us, in as sold condition.

Delivery

We offer free UK Next Working Day delivery with DPD Local with same day dispatch on weekday orders placed before 13:00.

  • This service is fully trackable and provides a 1 hour delivery time slot.
  • In-flight options allow you to rearrange your delivery. 
  • Pre 12 and weekend delivery options available at checkout

Packaging

We use bespoke packaging developed to protect our items whilst in transit. It is always a good idea to hang on to this packaging in case you decide to return the item, if you decide to dispose of the packaging then it is fully recyclable. Items do not come with their original Apple packaging.

Payment

We accept all major credit and debit cards along with Paypal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We also accept payment with bank transfer from businesses, get in touch at info@hoxtonmacs.co.uk if you require a pro forma invoice.

Buy a Mac with cryptocurrency

We offer cryptocurrency payments through Coinbase Commerce who offer a secure payment for a variety of coins.

Invoicing and VAT

All UK sales include 20% UK VAT and come with a full VAT invoice.

Finance

We offer financing options through Paypal Pay in 3 and Klarna.

To apply for these simply add an item to your cart, select either Klarna or Paypal following which you can select the financing option that suites you best and apply for an instant decision. Both Paypal Credit and Klarna are subject to Paypal and Klarna's terms and conditions, please spend responsibly.

International orders

We are able to ship iPads, MacBooks and Mac mini internationally to VAT registered businesses. 

We can supply the goods without VAT however you will be required to pay import VAT. DHL, the delivery courier also charge a handling fee which you will be required to pay.

Collection

Can I collect my order?

No, unfortuntaly not. We are an online business so do not have a shop or store that customers can visit or collect from. This is one of the ways we keep our costs down!

Trade-in

Do we accept trade-ins?

We do not purchase machines in small batches or from the public, so wouldn't be able to facilitate a trade-in or quote you for your device, unfortunately.
