The 5th generation iPad Pro 12.9-inch was introduced in May 2021 alongside the 3rd generation iPad Pro 11-inch. This model features the Apple M1 chip, Thunderbolt 3/USB 4 connectivity, and 8 or 16GB RAM. The design and screen sizes were similar to the previous generation.
