Every refurbished device you buy from Hoxton Macs is covered by our 1 year Return to Base Hardware Warranty where faulty goods will be repaired or replaced with goods equal or greater in specification.

• Any hardware issues with the device and its accessories.
• If the battery displays any Service or Replace warnings during the 1 year warranty period it will be replaced free of charge.

We don’t cover faults to your Mac caused by accident, neglect, misuse, normal wear and tear, or any alteration or repair carried out without our prior approval, each of which would invalidate the warranty.

Trust is at the heart of our work. We have a comprehensive refurbishment process to ensure are devices are carefully tested and thoroughly checked to be fully functional. That’s why our returns rate is less than 1%.

If you experience an issue then let us know and one of our technicians will first troubleshoot with you, to check whether the issue is software or hardware related and to see if we can solve it remotely. If the device has a hardware issue that we can't resolve remotely we will coordinate return of the device for warranty repair or replacement.

All of our devices are fully functional and come with a one-year warranty. Our grading relates to the physical condition of our devices, we keep it simple with two grades; A and B, explained below.

By default, our refurbished Macs are in grade A condition. This means that both the body and screen will be in very good condition. There might be light signs of use, such as minor surface wear on the base or corners of the body.

Grade B devices have minor cosmetic imperfections. This means that the chassis might have a scratch, scuff or small dent. Or the screen might have a hairline scratch or light surface wear.

Our Grade B stock is a great option if you are budget conscious or looking to get the best bang for your buck.

We are particularly careful about checking battery life. That’s why, unlike others in the industry, the batteries of the devices we sell are under 500 cycles and are within 80% or higher full-charge capacity.

Any issues with the health of the battery are covered under our one-year warranty. If you’re unhappy with the battery life of your device, we’ll run a remote test to make sure the battery is running as expected, and if it isn’t, we’ll replace it free of charge.
